Dare County holding back to school COVID-19 vaccine clinics

Dare County Department of Health and Human Services will be offering two COVID-19 vaccination clinics and the corresponding second dose clinics prior to the start of the school year.

These clinics will provide the Pfizer vaccine, which is authorized for use for individuals 12 years of age and over. Upcoming clinic dates are Thursday, July 29 from 2:30-6:30 p.m. in Buxton and Friday, July 30 from 2:30-6:30 p.m. in Nags Head.

To register for a vaccine appointment, visit www.darenc.com/covidvaccine to complete the vaccination request form. Dare County staff will then call to schedule an appointment.

Those with questions can contact the Dare County COVID-19 call center, which is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 252-475-5008.
