Dennis Dalton Mayo Jr., 70, died July 18, 2021 in Manteo.

Dennis was born in Richmond, Va. on July 5, 1951 and was preceded in death by parents Dennis Dalton Mayo Sr. and Frances Cornett Mayo and brother William Mayo.

Dennis is survived by children Andrew D’Amore; Rebecca “Becca” Eilert and husband Brad; Dennis “Dalton” Mayo III and wife Katarina; grandsons Barrett and Brayden Eilert; brother Robert and former spouse Deborah Loftis Mayo.

Dennis was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
