King catch at Jennette’s Pier

Robby Atwood of Chesapeake, Va. caught this 34.4 lb. king mackerel while pin rig fishing from the end of Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head last Thursday morning.
He said the fish was the largest one he’d caught since learning to king fish three years ago.
He was using a live bite to lure the fish to bite. Another large king was caught later.
