Blueline tilefish fishery closes Sunday

Effective 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, it is unlawful to sell or offer for sale blueline tilefish taken from waters under the jurisdiction of North Carolina or the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council.
The fishery will re-open January 1, 2022, per North Carolina Marine Fisheries Proclamation FF-43-2021.
