David Arnold Voliva, 82, of Columbia, died July 28, 2021.

Mr. Voliva was born in Tyrrell County on April 30, 1939 to the late Robert Oakley and Jessie G. Everton Voliva.

David honorably served his country in the United States Army

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on July 31 at the Sandy Acres Freewill Baptist Church with James Spencer and Daryl Kelly presiding. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include wife Ann Spencer Voliva, sons David Eric Voliva and Chad Evans Voliva; daughter Davona Davenport, adopted daughter Katie Boyd; grandchildren Tabatha Henry, Bryan Henry and wife Amy, Casey Voliva and wife Krysta, Brianne Sawyer and husband Zachary, Spencer Voliva, TJ Davenport and wife Amber, Jessica Combs and husband Dustin, Keiley Davenport and Skylar Swain; 16 great-grandchildren and brother Gary Allen Voliva.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Wayne Voliva.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
