John F. Cornelius of Clayton, formerly of Frisco, died of natural causes in Raleigh on August 2, 2021. Born in Bradford, Pa., he was the son of the late Leslie and Violet Cornelius.

John served his country honorably during the Vietnam War Era in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include wife Carol, son Christopher Cornelius (Martina) and grandson Jayden C. Cornelius.

The family will honor John’s plans for cremation and there are no services planned at this time. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements. www.gallopfuneralservices.com
