William Frank Carter, 81, of Coinjock, died at Currituck Health and Rehabilitation on August 21, 2021. He was born October 9, 1939, in Currituck County to the late Frank Mydgette Carter and Elizabeth Bray Carter.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Survivors include sister Suzanne Carter; brother Walton H. Carter (Trudy); and two nephews.
