Albert J. Larose earns degree from Clark University

Albert J. Larose, of Manteo, received a degree from Clark University during the University’s 117th Commencement exercises. Larose graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in studio art.

The University awarded 490 bachelor’s degrees, 501 master’s degrees and 10 doctorates, as well as conferred three honorary degrees during two ceremonies.

In his remarks, Clark President David Fithian praised the persistence shown by this year’s graduating class in transcending the many disruptions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

James McGovern, United States Representative for the Massachusetts 2nd Congressional District, delivered the Commencement address and urged graduates to speak up for what they believe in, even when it’s hard to do so.

Clark University is located in Worcester, Mass.
