Leathea Raye Green Sliger, 71, of Grandy, died August 26, 2021 at home. She was born in Fredericksburg, Va. on May 16, 1950 to the late Milton N. Green and Sarah E. Burton Green.

Survivors include husband Donald L. Sliger, daughters Patricia S. Green, Elizabeth Kronholm (Joey), Penny Guilford (Harry), Melanie Sliger (Vianca) and Heather Williamson (Tim); sister-in-law Pam Green; grandchildren Megan, Sianna, Lydia, Keenan, Harper and Lilah; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by step-father Bill Dye; brothers Milton “Dink” Green Jr. and Harold “Buzzy” Green; and grandson Billy.

A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. on September 10 at Currituck Bible Baptist Church in Grandy. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on September 13 in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, Va.
