Phyllis Anne Wiseman Owens, 83, of Grandy, died August 31, 2021 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 6, 1938 to the late James Robert Wiseman and Gayle Duffy Hill, she was the widow of Johnny Melvin Owens.

She is survived by daughters Karene Butler (Kevin), Johnna Keane and Jaline LaPlante; sons Gerald Owens and James Owens (Maria); sisters Melody Campbell and Pattie Litsey; daughter-in-law Shawn Owens (Paul); 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
