Boast your best bid while supporting the arts at Dare County Arts Council’s fundraising auction, The Great Art Heist, which will open at the DCAC Gallery in downtown Manteo on Friday, October 1.

The Great Art Heist was created in the wake of the pandemic and after a successful first year, the auction is returning with more art to steal for 2021.

“Join us for the fun and outbid us,” said event chairs Bea Basnight and Gail Midgett. “The Great Art Heist is our only fundraiser of 2021, so this event is vital to continuing DCAC’s programming in our community. Our goal this year is to have even more pieces of work in the auction for guests to bid on. By bidding on artwork in The Great Art Heist, you are supporting the arts and helping sustain the future of Dare County Arts Council.”
