John “Jack” Burke, 80, of Corolla, died September 7, 2021 in Nags Head. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Hubert and Anna Burke. Jack was predeceased by siblings Harry Burke, Elaine O’Connell, AnnMarie Holmes, Joseph Burke and Claire Smith.

Survivors include wife Barbara, née Mack; children Patricia  Savina (Martin), Joan Ealer (Joseph), Michael Burke (Nancy MacDonald), Eileen Heddy (Richard), John Burke (Michelle) and Marybeth Dring (James); brothers James and Hubert; grandchildren Alex and Sarah Savina, Ashley and Andrew Ealer, Colin, Evan and Taryn Heddy, Makenzie Ludwick and Liam and Tegan Dring and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A service was held September 10 at Corolla Chapel. A funeral mass will be held in New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lower Currituck Food Pantry.
