David Edward Jackson, 67, of Elizabeth City, died September 14, 2021 at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk. A native of Gaston County, he was born October 31, 1953 to Floyd Jackson and Joann Jenkins Jackson. David served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard.

Survivors include his parents, wife Martha Moxley Jackson, daughters Stacy Mason (Chris) and Lynn Waddell (James); son Michael Smith (Amy); grandchildren Jake, Chantel, Darien, Alexis and Alec, five great-grandchildren; sisters Lynn Reinhardt and Amy Jackson; and other family extended family.

A private service will be held in October in the mountains of North Carolina.  Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
