Jennifer Michelle Barnak, of Coinjock, died unexpectedly September 15, 2021 at home. Jennifer was born November 4, 1973 in Palatka, Fla.

Survivors include husband Michael Barnak; daughters Brandi Barnak and Skyla Gibbs; parents Thomas and Mary Oakes; grandchild Riversyn Saunders; former husband Tony Gibbs; birth mother Betty Patterson; and half-brother and sister Thomas Patterson and Stephanie Turpin.

Jennifer’s funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on September 24 at Coinjock Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Waterlily Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Barnak family is gratefully requesting donations toward Jennifer’s funeral and burial expenses.
