Bill G. Blevins, 87, formerly of Elizabeth City, died September 29, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1933, in Banner Elk to the late Burns Otway Blevins and Blanche Hamrick Blevins and was the widower of Doris Edwards Blevins. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include daughters Darla Blevins Carroll (Robert), Mary Beth Graff (Petter) and Kristin Blevins Beyer; sister Janice Marie Helmkamp; and grandchildren Logan Nicole Beyer, Jackson Blevins Beyer and Julianna Grace Birlin. He was predeceased by brother Harry Burns Blevins; sister Karen Blevins Berry; and son-in-law Dr. A. James “Jay” Beyer III.

Funeral services were held October 4 with burial following in West Lawn Cemetery.
