Lura Page Walker-Hamby, 56, of Hertford, died October 6, 2021 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born in Newport News, Va. on May 9, 1965 to Lorrine Creasman Page Brewer of Elizabeth City, NC and the the late Robert Lee Page.

Survivors include husband Robert Scott Hamby, mother Lorrine Brewer, stepfather James Brewer III, daughter Katie Hamby (Josh); son Grant Walker (Molly); sister Beci Spencer (Larry); brother Jimmy Brewer (Tina); grandchildren Landry Walker, Cora Hamby, Joshua Hamby and Rowen Hamby; two nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by first husband Steven Lee Walker; grandmother Mary Ann Creasman; and grandfather Olas Grant Creasman.

A floating gathering will be held October 16 between 2-4 p.m. at 109 Binnacle Court, Elizabeth City. A private burial will be held at a later date.
