William “Billy”  Lee Mathews Sr., 76, of Aydlett, died October 13, 2021 at home. Born in Norfolk, Va. to the late Carson Williams Mathews and Jean Walston Mathews, he was the husband of Faye Mathews.

Survivors include daughter Donna Mathews Collie; son William Lee Mathews Jr.; brothers Carson Mathews Jr., Richard Edward “Eddie” Mathews and Jack Walston Mathews; and grandchildren Christin Collie and Isabella Mathews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on October 18 at Sharon United Methodist Church, Poplar Branch with burial in the Mathews Family Cemetery. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
