Tyrrell ECA hosts Local Foods Contest at Scuppernong River Festival

The Tyrrell County Extension & Community Association (ECA) held its annual Local Foods Contest during the Scuppernong River Festival.
Forty-six entries ranged from salsa, to canned fruit to wine and so much more. Blue ribbons were awarded in each category. The overall grand winner was Hollie Wilson with her pickled vegetable medley.
