Virginia M. “Jenny” Christie, 87, died October 22, 2021 while residing at Waterbrooke Assisted Living in Elizabeth City. Virginia was born December 31, 1933 to the late Samuel D. Parcell  and Verna L. Chandler Parcell in Giles County, Va.

Survivors include sister Barbara Raasio (Melvin); sister-in-law, Sally Parcell and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by husbands  William B. Hobbs Sr. and William Christie; sons William B. Hobbs Jr. and Steven W. Hobbs and brother Patrick Parcell.
