John Boyd Robbins, 84, of Point Harbor, died October 31, 2021 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. John was born in Birmingham, Ala. on November 23, 1936 to Inez Hurst Robbins and Edgar Boyd Robbins.

Survivors include wife Margaret Robbins, children John Boyd Robbins Jr. (Sue) and Lucy Berry (Stephen), grandchildren Dana, Samantha, Dylan and Luke, Margaret’s children Michael Nichols (Heather), Matthew Nichols (Jean) and Carrie Simpson and grandchildren Caroline, Nathan, Natalie, Robert, Nicholas and Hayley; and siblings Bill Robbins and Elgie Dean Campbell. He was preceded in death by siblings Emogene Browning and Jewel Martin.
