Louis Brason Twiford died November 1, 2021 at home. He was born December 10, 1938 to Nancy Hughes Twiford and Lycurgus Milton Twiford.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lycurgus Milton Twiford Jr.

Survivors include wife Margaret Ann Russell Twiford, children Louis Brason Twiford Jr. (Gail), Tracy Twiford Lawrence (Rodney), grandchildren Laura Twiford Carlos (Mark), Kayla Twiford Garcia (Eric), Kody Twiford, Jake Twiford, Olivia Lawrence Carlson (Kyle), Alden Lawrence, Dustin Lawrence (Breanna) and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Evangelical Methodist Church, 820 Okisko Road on November 7 at 3 p.m. Visitation with the family follows the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles S. “Buddy” Reber Scholarship Fund in C/O Margaret Twiford, 1365 Four Forks Road, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
