The mobile food bank will take place as usual on the second Thursday of the month, November 11, from 4:30-6 p.m. at First Flight Elementary School.

When driving up to the check in, do not get out of the vehicle to register. A volunteer will approach and take information. Volunteers will then load everything into the vehicle. Leave sufficient room in the vehicle for volunteer to load items.

The mobile food program is available to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.

Dare County residency is required.
