Town of Southern Shores, Knights of Columbus plan Veterans Day ceremony

Planning has been underway for the Knights of Columbus Assembly 2989 and Town of Southern Shores 2021 Veterans Day Ceremony.

The ceremony will be held November 11 at 11 a.m. at the Southern Shores Town Hall Flagpole Pavilion. These year’s speaker is Jonny Waters, USA (ret).

Waters joined the Army Infantry right out of high school soon after the attacks of 9/11. Presently a teacher in the social studies department at First Flight High School, Waters holds a masters degree in education and is working towards his Ph.D. Waters is a musician, combat veteran and humanitarian.
