Hornthal, Riley, Ellis & Maland welcomes Louis J. “Johny” Hallow III

The law firm of Hornthal, Riley, Ellis & Maland, LLP has announced that Louis J. “Johny” Hallow III has joined the firm.

Hallow is a 2021 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as a notes and comments editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law. In 2018, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi, where he earned a bachelor of arts in public policy leadership from the Trent Lott Leadership Institute.

He previously interned for the Honorable Robert T. Numbers II, magistrate, United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Hallow will primarily practice out of Hornthal, Riley, Ellis & Maland’s Elizabeth City office. His practice will focus on civil litigation, personal injury, employment and local government. Having grown up in Greenville, he is excited to return to eastern North Carolina.
