Charles Fredrick Watts, 79, of Elizabeth City, died November 20, 2021 at home.  He was born in Roper on January 10, 1942 to the late Charles Julian Watts and Elise Tuten Watts.

Survivors include wife Dianne Nixon Watts, daughters Candee Watts and Michelle Johnson (Troy); son Brandon Dail (Mallory); grandchildren Sara Danielle Craig (Jared), Jackson Cooper (Bailey), Alex Joyner, Troy Crouse, Marlee Johnson, Blake Johnson and Bryce Dail; four great-grandchildren; and brothers Terry Watts and Eugene Watts.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on November 24 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jason Wise and Pastor Rick Lowery officiating. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
