KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC – Charlotte Sitzler, 89, died December 4, 2021.  A native of Portsmouth, VA, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, the love of her life, Robert E. Sitzler Sr.; sister, Peggy Barnes; and two grandchildren, Eli Brooks and Crystal B. Foster. Charlotte was a Woodrow Wilson High  graduate.

She is survived by eight children, Thomas Sitzler (Karey), Sherry Brooks (James), Dee Sitzler, Susan Sitzler (Margie Groht), Robin Frazier (Tommy), Samuel Sitzler (Donna), Robert E. Sitzler Jr. (Jeanette) and James Sitzler; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. in Olive Branch Cemetery. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth is in charge. www.SturtevantFH.com
