Deputies located Burroughs and tried to stop him, but he didn’t stop, leading to a chase, the sheriff’s office said.

Eden police slowed the vehicle by deflating the tires with stop sticks, and the chase soon ended.

Burroughs was wanted on multiple warrants when he was arrested and multiple charges were added, including felony fleeing to elude arrest and felony discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is jailed on a $381,000 secured bond. It’s not known if he has an attorney.
