Wreaths a-plenty filled Manteo Town Hall with holiday cheer after area businesses contributed their offerings to help decorate the town.

The Roanoke Island Garden Club and the Town of Manteo worked together again this year for the business wreath contest and this year’s winners have been announced.

“There were so many great and wonderful entries this year,” stated a Town of Manteo press release. “All of these absolutely beautiful wreaths will be hanging throughout downtown Manteo during the holiday season for all to enjoy!”

Winners are: first place – Charlotte’s; second place – The Christmas Shop; third place – Island Farm and honorable mention – Coastal Blooms.

“We are so excited to have received over 20 wreaths that will help dress our town for the holiday season,” stated the release. “Thank you so much to each and every local Manteo business that participated not only in the contest but in helping to spread joy all over our community this year!”
