Manteo High School volleyball player Jamie Holton is the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association 2A Player of the Year.
She received a full athletic scholarship to The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
Holton is joined by her volleyball coach, Heather Sulkowski, Superintendent John Farrelly and school board member David Twiddy at a recent meeting of the Dare County Board of Education.
