John Wilson Jones Jr. died at home on December 23, 2021. He was born on December 25, 1933, the son of the late John Wilson Jones and Lula Whitehurst Jones.

Survivors include wife Margaret Brumsey Jones, sons J. Wilson Jones III (Patricia) and Stephen L. Jones (Shelly); grandchildren Tyler Jones, Ashley Jones and Megan Jones and brother Robert “Bob” Jones (Nan).

He served his country in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

Funeral service was held December 27, 2021 with a private burial in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made in his honor to local charities of their choice. www.TwifordFH.com
