Ray Houston Roughton, 70, of Columbia, died December 27, 2021 at Three Rivers Health and Rehab Center, Windsor.

He was born in Tyrrell County to the late Obbie James and Virginia Comstock Roughton. 

Survivors include son Joshua Gibbs (Tracy); sister Lisa Gibbs (Gladford); brothers Nathan Roughton and James Gibson.

He was preceded in death by wife Patricia Ritch and sister Rose R. O’Neal.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
