Louise Taylor Brown, 100, of Elizabeth City, died January 14, 2022 at home.

Born in Currituck County on November 16, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Taylor and the late Mary Lambeth Taylor.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Mary Louise and Larry Zawacki; sister-in-law Lydia G. Taylor and other family. She was predeceased by husband William B. “Buck” Brown; infant sister Julia Fetna Taylor; and brother Thomas Lambeth Taylor.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on January 20, 2022 at New Hollywood Cemetery. Visitors will be received from 5:30-7:00 p.m. January 19 at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to Newbegun United Methodist Church, 2119 Nixonton Road, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
