Mona “Lisa” Burd, 67, of Grandy, died January 20, 2022. She was born January 20, 1955 in Washington, DC to Ismeal Lazo and Edith Lazo, who preceded her in death along with father-in-law Herbert Burd and brother Venancio “Vick.”

Survivors include husband Herbert Burd Sr.; daughter Sandy; son Herbert Jr.; 10 grandchildren and other family members.

Graveside funeral service will be held January 27 at 2 p.m. at Laurel Memorial Gardens. The family has requested attendees wear something yellow to represent Lisa’s love for Tweety Bird. Twiford Memorial Chapel is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
