Norita Baker Horton, 94, of Camden, died February 7, 2022 at home. She was born in Currituck County to the late Daniel G. Baker and Ella Sawyer.

Survivors include husband James D. Horton; daughter Annie E. Elmore (Mike); son Donald C. Horton (Deborah); daughter-in-law Anita Moody; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons William Moody and Daniel Moody; daughter Gloria Jean Stone and nine brothers and sisters.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on February 11 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. Friends and family will be received in the lobby of the funeral home immediately after the service.
