Morris Leo Kight Sr., 91, of Shiloh, died February 10, 2022 at Sentara Albmarle Medical Center. Born in Elizabeth City on December 13, 1930 to the late Henry B. Kight and Pearl Star Eure Kight, he was the widower of Carol Lee Burgess Kight.

Survivors include daughter Gladys Marie Kight Lane (Doug); grandchildren Tammy Lane Meads (Ricky), Morris Kight III and Tara Kight Ritter (Jesse); and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by son Morris Leo Kight Jr.; sister Goldie Kight Riggs; brothers Elwood Kight Sr., Clifton Kight and Levy Kight.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on February 14 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. Family will greet visitors immediately following the service in the funeral home lobby. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Needham Adult Care Home, 916 S. Sandy Hook Rd., Shiloh, NC 27974.
