Sterlin Ray Parisher Jr., 70, of the Gum Neck community, died February 10, 2022 at home.

Ray Parisher was born in Tyrrell County on February 13, 1951 to the late Sterlin R. and Flora M. Voliva Parisher.

Mr. Parisher was an airplane mechanic for the United States Navy.

Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on February 13 at The Point Cemetery in Gum Neck.

Surviving are sons Erik Parisher and Josh Parisher; brother Gregory E. Parisher (Karen); sister Kay P. Lajesse; and grandchildren Jonah Parisher and Cameron Parisher.
