Wednesday’s Powerball drawing produced four big wins in North Carolina including two prizes of $50,000, one $100,000 prize and a fourth prize of $1 million, according to a press release from the North Carolina Education Lottery.

The big $1 million winner purchased the ticket in Lenoir County through Online Play, winning the largest prize nationally in the drawing. The $2 ticket matched the numbers on all five white balls to win the $1 million prize. The odds of matching numbers on all five white balls are 1 in 11.6 million.

The $100,000 winner purchased the lucky ticket in Davidson County through Online Play. The $3 ticket matched four of the white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000, but since it was a Power Play ticket the prize was doubled when the 2X multiplier was drawn.

The drawing also produced two $50,000 wins in North Carolina. Those $2 tickets were purchased at the Circle K on Wilmington Highway in Jacksonville and the Gold Star E on Lobelia Road in Vass in Moore County.

The winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.
