Bernice Etheridge Meekins, of Kill Devil Hills, died February 18, 2022. Born on April 26, 1941 in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Wiley and Christine Etheridge.

Survivors include husband Bryan Meekins, children Bryan Meekins Jr. and Debi Meekins, siblings Will Etheridge (Judy), Peggy Etheridge Mooring, Bobby Etheridge (Debbie) and Wanda Graham Thompson. She was predeceased by sister Annie Mae Etheridge.

Memorial service will be held February 27 at 1 p.m. at Colington United Methodist Church.
