Chris Handron, PA-C named The Outer Banks Hospital and Medical Group Beacon of Health Advanced Practice Provider of the Year

The Outer Banks Hospital and Medical Group recognized Chris Handron, PA-C as the 2021 Beacon of Health Advanced Practice Provider of the Year. He joined Outer Banks Family Medicine in Manteo in March 2019 and has been a physician assistant for more than 10 years.

“Handron focuses on truly getting to know each patient in order to obtain a strong understanding of his or her healthcare needs,” stated the award announcement from The Outer Banks Hospital. “He believes in providing education to patients so they can make the best decisions for long-term wellness. Vidant Health has recognized Handron with several quality awards over the past three years.”

“Chris has been an amazing addition to Outer Banks Family Medicine in Manteo,” said one of the nominators. “He goes above and beyond to provide quality care and is personable and compassionate. He is a great leader, mentor and patient advocate, and a genuinely good person.”
