In this brand-new program, “Native Plants for Your Backyard,” attendees will learn about these plants that are well adapted to the physical environment formed by the local climate, weather conditions, soil types and other factors that affect gardening on the Outer Banks. This brand-new program will be presented at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Using Native Plants to Attract Wildlife – March 16

Migrating and year-round birds are best adapted to native plants for food and cover and this program will describe the various plants that can be used to attract them. The program will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Controlling Pests – Bad Boys on the Outer Banks – March 30
