Kathleen Hornung, 85, of Ocracoke, died February 22, 2022 at home. Born February 15, 1937, in Nyack, New York, she was a daughter of Mason Luther and Myrtle Dunn.

She was predeceased by brother Mason Luther.

Survivors include husband Robert Hornung, children Nora Blythe, Robert Hornung and Daniel Hornung, siblings Luke and Audrey and nine grandchildren.
