Frances J. Holmen, 75, of Elizabeth City, died March 1, 2022 at home. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 12, 1947.

Survivors include husband Howard O. Holmen, daughters Frances Drummond and Melissa Arnold (Robert); siblings Betsy Hooper, Nicole Shirley, David Franklin and Mark Franklin and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by parents Edward McGinley and Josephine McCarron McGinley and daughter Carole Ann Drummond.
