Samuel Marion Baum, 80, of Camden, died March 5, 2022 at home. He was born in Beaufort County on October 3, 1941 to the late Samuel L. Baum and Lillian Potter Baum. He served his country honorably in the National Guard.

Survivors include wife Rose McPherson Baum, sons Lindsey Baum (Trish) and  David Baum (Debbie); brother Thomas Baum (Mary Kathryn); three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sister Ruby Parker Baum and brother Robert W. Baum.
