William Arthur Stevens, 82, of Camden, died March 5, 2022 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was born January 12, 1940 to the late Howard Shelton Stevens “Poochie” and the late Florence Woodley Stevens. He served his country honorably in the United States Coast Guard.

Survivors include daughter Cheryl Stevens-Pool (Chuck); five grandchildren; a step-grandson; and brother William W. Stevens (Gwen).  He was predeceased by daughter Carolyn Thompson; grandson Michael J. Stevens; and siblings Judy Stevens and Michael E. Stevens.

Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on March 8 at Twiford Memorial Chapel.  Donations may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or your local Humane Society in his memory. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
