Coastal Studies Institute will host eight weeks of camp with four alternating themes during summer 2022.

These summer camps focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts and use hands-on experiences and exploration of the great outdoor spaces of the Outer Banks. The cost for one week of camp is $300 and up to 13 campers between 10 and 15 years of age will be accepted for each session. Each day begins at the Coastal Studies Institute campus in Skyco at 9 a.m. and wraps up at 3:30 p.m.

Camp themes for the 2022 sessions are:

– Coastal Kingdoms Ecology Camp, offered June 20-24 and July 25-29.

– Legends of the Atlantic Ocean Exploration Camp, offered June 27-July 1 and Aug. 1-5.

– Shapes in Science Art and Science Camp, offered July 11-15 and Aug. 8-12.

– Sustainable Seas Oceanography and Coastal Engineering Camp, offered July 18-22 and Aug. 15-19, 2022.
