Betty Lou Dixon Graves, 92, of Elizabeth City, died on March 16, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Born in Gaston County on April 2, 1929 to the late Thomas Bunyan Dixon and Mary Selena Randall Dixon, she served her country honorably in the U.S. Army.

She is survived by daughter Diana Fair-Marsh (Bobby); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family. She was predeceased by siblings Zona Holland, Juanita Murphy, Eugene Dixon and Fred B. Dixon and first husband Walter B. McGee.

Memorial service will be held at a later date in Dallas, NC. Visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m. on April 8, 2022 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family.  www.TwifordFH.com
