Rodney Doyle Minton, 73, of Manteo, died March 25, 2022. He was born in November of 1948 to Hazel Perry Minton and Marvin Ellis Minton of Kitty Hawk.

Survivors include wife Kimberly P. Minton, sons Michael Derek Minton and Jason A. Minton, brother Charles E. Minton (D’Andrea); four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and other family. He was predeceased by daughter Laura Minton Davies, siblings Cassandra Minton Nixon and Marvin Ellis Minton Jr. and parents Marvin and Hazel Minton.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on March 30, 2022 at Austin Cemetery.
