Alvin Franklin Ambrose Sr., of East Lake, died March 31, 2022. He was born August 2, 1939 in Elizabeth City to the late Nolan and Melva Ambrose. He was predeceased wife Myrna Loy Sawyer Ambrose and sister Ray Kaighn.
Survivors include children Alvin Wayne Ambrose (Louise), Calvin Franklin Ambrose (Brenda), Bonita Ambrose Hurdle (Alan) and Alvin Franklin Ambrose Jr. of East Lake; brother Nolan Ambrose and other family.
The family is honoring Alvin’s choice for cremation and no services are planned.
