College of The Albemarle-Dare County Campus Dean Tim Sweeney (center, arms crossed) begins a tour of the college’s new academic building for area media members on Monday.

Behind Sweeney is the administration desk leading to a suite of offices. The lighting in the two-story lobby features huge circles. Some of the lines in the two-story wall behind Sam Walker (center, light blue shirt) are filled with narrow bands of light that change color.

Come see the new building filled with technology, brightly colored chairs and more amazing lighting on Friday, April 8, 2022 for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. The building will be open until 4 p.m.
