All are invited to bring family and friends and check out the variety of craft and food vendors, music, live entertainment, lawn games and a great kids’ corner. High school bands, local dancers and performers, an obstacle course and hula hoops are also on the schedule.

Finish off a weekend of family, friends and community celebration on Sunday, June 5 from 2-4 p.m. at a gospel concert at the Pea Island Cookhouse on Sir Walter Raleigh Street. Look for the Keeper Richard Etheridge statue that stands tall at the roundabout. An old-fashioned lemonade stand and local sweets at bake sales will provide refreshment while relaxing and enjoying a wide array of music provided by local churches and other groups.

“Dare Days 2022 is all about celebrating and connecting communities at the grass roots level in order to share our wonderful and diverse culture and rich history through this very special event,” stated event organizers. “Also, don’t forget to shop and dine at the many local shops and restaurants throughout the weekend. Shop local, keep your receipts and exchange them during any part of the weekend’s festivities for fun gifts and prizes. Dare Days 2022 is sure to be an eventFULL weekend!”
